Disappointed
While this hotel had a 3 star rating on Expedia, it did not meet our expectation of that rating. The lobby & pool area seemed updated, but our room, especially the bathroom definitely needed updating.The sink leaked,the desk lamp didn’t work & it was difficult to find outlets for phone chargers & laptops.

First Rate Hotel for all Travelers
Hotel service is excellent. Suite was comfortable with lots of extras. Bed and covers gave me a wonderful nights sleep. Highly recommend this hotel and the restaurants near by.

So, so accomodations
The hotel itself is not bad but what left a bad taste is to tell me they only had first floor rooms available if you paid $10.00 extra per night. The hotel was obviously not full. There were plenty of rooms available. Some people I’m sure agreed to pay the extra fee so they would not have to carry luggage up the stairs (no elevator).

Very clean and nice hotel
When we 1st walked into the hotel the lobby was gorgeous. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. The employees were friendly, they offered starbucks coffee in the room AND lobby, they had neutrogena brand shampoo and conditioner, they gave coupons for breakfast, the location is great(not too far or close), and they even have complimentary shuttle service. This was a great hotel, I would definately stay there again!

Would do it again!
From front desk to clean and very comfy bedding, I was impressed with this hotel. Just needed a place to sleep and was surprised with the value. It is "motel" drive up style but other than that everything was exceptional.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Great location for most nightlife in Scottsdale. Check out the new Fox Mexican Restaurant "Blanco"..."tacos & tequila" just north on Scottsdale Road a few blocks.

Getting Close to a Must Stay Hotel
I have stayed here 6 or more times since it has reopened as a boutique hotel. I do like staying here as it is in a great location and the staff is great. I cant believe they havent finished remodeling this place yet though and it has been well over a year, still painting and fixing things. Although I think they have done a "Good" job of upgrading the place, I think a few corners were cut in the tub and shower areas. The door locks are a bit iffy, make sure your door is closed and locked when you leave the room. I enjoy the nice looking interior ground area. Its a real pleasure to relax out in the Pool and courtyard area, with covered lounges, some with ceiling fans, and the food and drink service is a nice touch. There is a Restaurant and a Bar/Lounge on the property that will do for most any occasion.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Go downtown for some great shopping and nightlife. Within 5 miles there are so many great places to shop eat and just waste some quality time with that special someone.
