Good bargain
Very nice hote, good location - new EWR airport. Excelent for trvaleler to spend nights before flights. Near a Mall for buying gifts...

I’ll never stay in Newark again
Terrible neighborhood surrounding hotel. Can’t walk to anything, so you really are trapped without a car. Complimentary breakfast was okay. Manager was trying to be conscientious but front desk female didn’t want to be bothered with any questions. I’ll never stay in Newark again. Would rather pay extra $ and stay in the city.

Convenient Location with Great Value
Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I shall say I am very satisfied with the hotel considering how much I am paying (the rate was very good). The breakfast was not as good as other Hampton Inns, but was acceptable. The only improvement I would like to see is the courtesy of the evening shift front desk agents. I called the front desk twice for questions --- I am the one who greet the agent with "Good evening" after somebody say "hi" to me. Does that mean something to you? The morning crew was friendly and very helpful.
Drive to Liberty Park at New Jersey, and park your car there. Take the ferry from there to tour and Liberty Statue. After the tour, instead of taking the ferry back to New Jersey, take another ferry to Manhattan. There is a "water texi" sending people back from the Financial District to Liberty Park --- so, there is way to get back to your car. In addition to the Liberty tour, it saves time and money for anyone who also want to visit Manhattan as well. Of course, if one does not want to tour the Liberty Statue, this option is not application to him/her.
