Reasonable accommodations for the Expedia price

Check-in staff was friendly and courteous. Maid service was friendly but less than efficient. There was cereal (corn flakes) on the floor near one of the beds when we arrived which was still there when we checked out two days later. The room was large. HVAC worked reasonably well. There were not enough electrical outlets to run all the lights, TV, and small refrigerator at the same time, or to charge cell phones and laptops. The wi-fi worked only sporadically. Overall the motel had the appearance of an older facility that had seen better days, but was still hanging on fairly well. Balancing the price, the location, and the friendly staff the Super 8 was a reasonable value. My son and I agree that we would stay there again (but then we camp a lot and stay in more rustic accommodations). Contrary to complaints posted on the internet about problems with bedbugs in some local motels, there were no signs of any insect problems inside or outside.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

There are a number of interesting small parks in the Tallahassee area which are convenient to the Super 8. The indian mounds park was particularly interesting.

Not pleased with quality considering price we paid for the room.

Hotel room carpet was filthy. Bathroom was not very clean.

Awful Experience!

The room smelled terrible, was extremely small and looked really dirty. I wasn’t able to sleep at night because the air conditioner turned on every 30 minutes with a huge "boom" sound. Think twice between booking a room at this hotel.
