Wonderful Time
Hotel is a couple of minutes away from the castles and nearby very quaint medieval towns. Wonderful location. Surroundings are picturesque. there was evening entertainment in the hotel restaurant (yes, even some yodeling!) and the morning breakfast buffet was great. No complaints at all and would gladly return. Owners are very friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel, great location, no internet
The hotel itself is great, and is located very close to the main attractions in Schwangau. The only downer was no internet available in the room; I’m a student, so I couldn’t "go" to class online while there. Other than that, good breakfast offered, good clean rooms with mosquito screening for windows, nice water pressure in the shower, and lots of parking. I’ll go there again, just not when I have class online!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The hotel is located about five minutes away from Schloss Neuschwanstein and Schloss Hohenschwangau, the two biggies in sight-seeing in Bavaria. Also located about 15 minutes away from Fussen, a great medieval town.

Not luxury but clean
The room is clean and the hotel is ok to spend few nights. The location is good, near the center of Fussen and the castles. The breakfast is included and is great !
Traveler's tip on dining
Go to Ludwigs restaurant at Fussen (Reichenstrasse, 17). The food is great and the prices are very good ! You can share because the portions are big.
