Inexpensive Hotel
It was a fairly old and inexpensive hotel but still a good place to stay. Be sure to ask for a room on the bayside away from the noisy traffic.

Good hotel, nice room, noisy neighbors.
The Seabay is nice, clean and a good middle of the road place to stay. An added plus is the ALL U CAN EAT restaurant next door. THe room was clean, and set up fine, but noisy neighbors made it hard to relax, especially at 11:30 at night. An easy way to impress guests would be an ice machine on every floor, it became a joke walking up and down stairs to find one. I would stay here again.

Not a relaxing place
My husband and I decided to take a break over Labor Day weekend and after just one night we wished we had stayed home. It looked like a nice place online, but I wish I had read the hotels brochure, because somewhere in there it says: "Students Welcome". This hotel was filled with college kids that were drunk and loud most of the time. Doors were slamming, people were shouting (Dude, let me in!) till 4AM, and there was plenty of lewd behavior at the pool. The owner is glad to sell rooms to college kids, who cram as many people into one room as possible. It was awful. I realize that this may have been a unique circumstance, but I doubt it. And you should know that although it doesnt say this anywhere in the Expedia or SeaBay websites, there is a strict NO REFUND policy. If you arrive for 4 nights, you pay up front for four nights. If you want to leave early, too bad. My husband and I wanted to leave after two sleepless nights (we had booked for 4)and they were fine with that...but they were still going to charge us for all four nights. We complained that the situation was unbearable, but to no avail. We tossed and turned through the third night, and decided to leave early anyway despite losing our money. So, if you are a college student and want a relatively inexpensive place to stay where you can cram all of your friends into one room and where you can drink all night and act like a fool, this is the place for you. All others - you might want to think twice.
