Our 5th year in a row
We have stayed at the Vinoy the past 5 years now. Every first weekend of October we run in the Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer Awareness. The resort is always clean, staff goes out of their way, and it is right outside of the start line of the race :} This year we got to watch a movie pool side, grandkids loved as well. We plan on staying here in the years to come. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE VINOY FOR ANY REASON.

Wonderful historic hotel
This hotel is so beautiful. The view of the marina is priceless. We were upgraded to this view for no extra charge:) You can walk just about anywhere. This being a business hotel they should not charge you for using the internet by a daily rate--oh well. Do not move anything from the mini fridge or you will automatically get charged for it on the bill. The cleaning staff moved my aloe and we got charged for the cashew’s spot (2x)...they were really quick to take it off though. Shower head’s are not really good either. Overall wonderful and will stay again. Lots of places to sit outside and look at the marina.

Go to the pier and do the dolphin cruise guaranteed or your money back. Was so wonderful.

Our Anniversary at the Vinoy
We loved the all too few days we had at the Vinoy. The golf was great. I played with several members who could not have been nicer. Had a great round. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the spa and took full advantage of it. Our favorite time was sitting on the porch, with a couple of drinks, rocking and talking. A true delight. Also thanks for the ride to the Rays game---which they lost---but going and coming was a pleasure. We had a great anniversary.
