Very Nice
The only inferiority we noticed was a very poor caulking job on the tile above the bathtub. Otherwise, we found everything to be very good.

There are two names for the street on which the hotel is located. This created some confusion for us.

Lakeside Holiday Inn
This was the second time I have stayed here. The staff is the best. The rooms are nothing special but they are clean. The only drawback is the lack of ice from the Ice machine. The hotel has so many rooms the machines cant keep up.

Nice hotel with convenience to downtown Louisville, etc
My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn-Clarksville for the Street Rod Nationals car show. It’s located about 6 miles from the Ky Fair and Exposition Center--very convenient to downtown Louisville and close to shopping and several eateries. We didn’t have time to enjoy the pool-but the areas around the indoor and outdoor pools were quite nice. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating; we asked for a first level hotel room and our wish was granted. The shower was above average; comfort of the bed about average. The hotel restaurant has a Prime Rib buffet on Saturday night--it is reasonably priced and the food selection is acceptable.
There was not a refrigerator in our room--although the hotel description on Expedia stated there would be. All in all our stay was very pleasant and the hotel is located right off of 65--very easy to find.
