Quiet Hotel in London.

I would recommend the Commodore Hotel in London. I find, for the price, that the room, though on the small side, was adequate, with good bathroom facilities, plenty storage and, best of all, was scrupulously clean. The hotel is in a pleasantly quiet backwater, yet so convenient for Lancaster Gate underground station and for numerous buses. My one complaint would be at the incredibly small size of the elevator - with two occupants, plus luggage, it felt quite claustrophobic. Nevertheless, I would still go back to the Commodore on my next trip.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Save a little money and make your transport around London so easy. Buy an "Oyster Card". They are available to purchase and top-up with money at many venues, including airports, underground stations and many shops. The card can then be used as a universal pass on Central London trains and buses.

Well located

The Commodore Hotel is well located very close from Paddington Station. It is a good choice for the traveller who just want a reasonable place to stay during the nights. The rooms are a bit small. Overall it is a good value for the price
