A lovely surprise
This hotel exceeded my expectations as its web site does not do it justice. I chose it more on its availability than description and photos. It is not difficult to find but seems to be in the process of changing ownership so the hotel is not clearly identified from the road. Our room was lovely, comfortable and impeccably clean. The complimentary continental breakfast was average but adequate. The service personnel were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Great stop off the beaten path
We were willing to stay a longer distance from the Poughkeepsie train station for the price. We were pleasantly surprised by the surrounding area! Lots of eating options and shopping! We are looking forward to staying again, especially with all the renovations being done!
