OK Stay - But!
The location and neighborhood are good. The motel is showing some wear but is comfortable and quiet. When we checked in, we moved from room to room before we got one where the basic things worked. In the first two rooms there was no working light in the bathroom area. In the third room, the TV remote was missing and the TV didn’t work.. The receptacle in the bathroom area didn’t work in the forth room but we decided we had moved enough. The desk clerk said they had no maintenance personnel currently working and she had a long list of repairs when they actually hired someone to do maintenance. The personnel at this location were very helpful and apologetic for the problems. We didn’t place any blame on them since they were doing all they could to find us a room where most things would work.

Very pleased.
For the price, this was a very good hotel located within five minutes driving distance to the main public beach on Hilton Head Island. I plan to go there again in the future.

Not bad...but not great either
We stayed here for 3 nights. The room did not have much to it. It was smaller, no hair dryer, and seemed to be just what it was...a room to sleep in. I was a little upset that I had to pay to get the wireless internet access. But it worked. The location was actually very good if you plan on doing some driving around the island. You are right on the main roadway, so going to and from places was easy to do. But, you do pretty much need your car to get anywhere. Pool was relatively small...but when your by the ocean, it really didnt matter so much. Overall, I would probably have spent a little more money to have a better place to stay...but if your on a budget...it worked just fine.
