fantastic High St location
Our room was in the High street-facing newer building rather than in the older section which was a bit of a shame, but the room itself was very spacious with a huge, spotless bathroom. Not a budget option but worth every penny.

Good value, location, etc.
Spent 3 nights here in August 2009. This was the largest room of any we stayed in during our vacation in England. It came with breakfast plus free parking. Excellent close-in location. Professional staff. Good price. Locals in the bar helped us understand The Ashes Cricket Tournament. Americans should feel comfortable here. We enjoyed it. Great value.

Old home weekend
It was like coming home, albeit a newly renovated home, since I’ve stayed at The Falcon for a week, as part of a large group, for years. This time it was for a long weekend, and I was only with a few friends. Breakfast, which was included, was lovely; the food was good; fresh fruit is always a plus. I love the old section of the hotel, and the charm was still there, even though the bathroom was modernized (I now had a shower, which I prefer). I would be happy to stay there again.
