Great Vacation
The Hotel and grounds were beautiful, very clean. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. We tipped the bar staff and maid service and received exceptional service. The food was just OK. If you go for the food you will be disappointed. We were there in October and the hotel was not very busy so some of the restaurants were not open. The pools were great. Beach was nice but rough while we were there. We had a Deluxe Jr with pool access. It was nice, the only complaint I had was it smelled very musty. The front desk said it was the sewer system. It wasn’t enough to ruin my first vacation in 2yrs!!!! Overall, I would definitely go back.

Big family friendly resort.
The pluses of this hotel include air-conditioned, non-smoking in all restaurants, really nice and clean rooms, an amazing pool and a nice beach. The negative include constant music blaring at the pool, 1/2 mile walk from beach to lobby, and average food. This is more a family friendly resort rather than a quiet, relaxing result. I would recommend this resort to families and those searching for a more upbeat experience.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
We did Chichen-Itza as an all day excursion and I recommend renting a car and driving there yourself than having to stop at all the tourist shops.

great place
This was a great place, the food was great as well. The room was clean and cool. I would go back in a minute!
