A great stay in So. MD
The hotel opened in May 2009. Everything is brand-spanking new. Lovely lobby. Rooms have handy microwave and mini-fridge. Breakfast is a real disappointment--cereal, milk, juice, bagels, coffee. Wound up going to a nearby McKay’s Supermarket to get decent coffee, yougurt, soy milk, and a donut. Also, business center had only a flat screen TV, no computer terminal or printer or copy machine. Did not have my laptop with me, so I cannot attest to how good the wi-fi is.
Leonardtown is 55 miles south of Washington DC. You definitely need a car to get around the area.
