Nothing fancy but nice and clean
This is an older style motel with none of the fancy stuff of the new ones. I guess that’s why the price is still reasonable. It was very quiet and my request for an upstairs quiet side room was granted. The manager was very nice and the help was accommodating, even though we did not ask for much. One problem was resolved very quickly and efficiently. We did note, however, that not all Continental Breakfasts are alike. What it consists of is Spartan and limited. As far as the room goes, it was clean, neat, and large enough. My feet did not get dirty when walking on the carpet barefoot and everything worked as it should. It had been remodeled some time ago and was very comfortable. If you don’t require all the bells and whistles, don’t mind some different people around you, enjoy your peace and quiet, enjoy being in the heart of the city instead of along the freeway, this may just be right for you. It was for us.
