The location is great, far enough from the city center and close enough to walk to the heart of the city. Very close to the train station. Just make sure you book it using expedia, it is cheaper than calling them. Also, if you need an extra bed book it in advance from Expedia rather than going to the hotel and getting one. The charge 4 times the money if you ask for an extra bed. Call expedia before you leave for an extra bed.

Carlton Europe Hotel
The hotel is in a great location close to the east train station. Our room looked out on the mountains. Beautiful! It’s an easy walk to go through the shopping district, past the park where the cows keep the grass mown! The staff was friendly, very competent in English.
Traveler's tip on dining
The Cafe Pierre is separately owned, but part of the hotel. We had a WONDERFUL meal there. The chef is the husband, the wife runs the dining room and small bar and it was all superb.
