Good hotel for the price
Hotel was ok for the price only thing is kept me up at night with Train noise. Sounds like train tracks in the backyard. Otherwise good place to stay. Cant complain for the price.

Just fine for the price
If youre expecting luxury and lots of amenities, this is not it. However, for the price we paid I thought it was just fine. It was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the beds were comfortable, even for my bad back. It is an older motel, but everything seemed to be in working order. I think we got the same room reviewed by another traveler where the door didnt fit properly in the frame and we could see daylight around the edges, but it didnt bother me. I didnt feel unsafe at any time, nor did any outside noise bother us. If youre staying for a night before or after Busch Gardens or on the way through to another destination, this motel is an inexpensive option for a clean, basic place to sleep. If youre staying in Williamsburg longer than one night, youll probably want a little more from your room (like a coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo....) and something closer to restaurants and attractions.
Traveler's tip on dining
If you do stay in this motel, skip the free continental breakfast held in the cramped office and head across the highway to the local pancake house. Great food, excellent coffee and huge portions. Terrific for filling up kids tummies before sightseeing or riding roller coasters!

A cheap room - not to spend too much time in.
We needed a cheap room to stay in while in Williamsburg. I probably would not choose this hotel if I was with my son, but it was just my fiance and we really didnt need anything fancy. We wouldnt spend time in this hotel to just "relax". It was more shower, leave, and come back just to sleep. The bathroom was the worst part. It was dirty, smelled bad, the shower was small and creaky, and there was someones old sanitary pad stuck on the back of the toilet. Ew... it must have slipped through house-keeping. The people who worked there were pretty nice I guess - didnt really have much communication with them. There is a train that runs right beside the hotel, so if that noise would bother you, definitely pick something on the other side of town. Overall, a cheap place to sleep.
