Misafir Evi


My guesthouse is in the village of Kayakoy, called Karmylassos in antiquity as a Lycian city and later as Levisse until 1923 when the majority of the population was of Greek ethnic origin. Kaya, as we now call it, is a place where nature, culture and history embrace each other. I am always delighted to serve my guests. They too enjoy the tranquillity and warmness of our house. Many of the vegetables and herbs I use in my kitchen come from my own garden and are organically grown. I buy the rest from my neighbours who are farmers. My guests are always welcome to gather vegetables and fruits with me and also join me in the kitchen to learn Turkish recipes and even to help me!
