Good hotel location

Perfect for those that doens’t want to spend much money on a hotel.

Hotel is average, You get what you pay for

Plus - location and price. Close to Disney. Very cheap rates. Negatives - Freezing cold pool and musty smell in hallways & rooms. You have to way out the cost/benefit for your vacation needs.

The Sandbar on Cocoa beach had the best Fish Taco’s. Sounds weird but they are really great. Awesome hole in the wall location too.

Rooms were not clean.

The first room we were in had a broken a/c unit and had to change rooms. The second room had mold all over the roof and around the tub. The rooms were not well kept and the hotel needed to be remodeled.

a good choice

This hotel is clean and the two queen beds are comportable. The personnel are polite and considerate. The first night, I heard the noise of ice machine out my room and told them, they turned it off immediately. And the other nights, when we came back, I never heard the noise again: they have already turned it off! Of couse it is not one of Hiltons, but it is a good place for your staying in Orlando, since most people go there for the Disney world and universal studio, etc. If your prefer to staying in the hotel all day, this is not your choice. There are several reasons I would recommend this hotel to my friends: 1. It is clean and comfort. Not extremely clean, but clean enough. 2. It offers free shuttle to and from Disney world theme parks. 3. It is on bus line: this is one of my great findings, Lynx route 111 serves between Disney world theme parks and Orlando airport ervery 1 hour, even in weekends, for only 2 dollors each person! Florida Mall is on the line too. You can stop at "double tree hotel", it is less than 10 minutes walk. 4. There are Subway, Chinese buffet, griller and tourist shop within 2minutes walk. And Olive Garden, an Italian restaurant which my boy and husband like very much, is right at the other side of road. 5. You can get a good deal for the rate from this hotel, it is hard to find such a price nearby. In summary, if you do not drive in Orlando, this hotel is a very good choice for you. I recommended it to my friends.

Was Scared After Reading Other Reviews

After I reserved the hotel , i started reading reviews i was actually scared ...ive stayed at other hotels ..including disney property and 4 star hotels i went first week of October 2009 did theme parks . The buildings really bright :) when we checked in our room was ready for us .. no complaints there .. and the room looked good , clean etc . A big PLUS is its a NO SMOKING HOTEL so thats great ..well everything was good we were there 4 Nights , Everythings Close by even the main entrance to disney proberty 2 blocks away ,food places etc.I would stay again on my next trip!

In the plaza in the front of the hotel there is a supermarket called GOODIES ..when you walk in it looks like your stepping back in time ..they have very beutiful disney cupcakes (and other ocassions) besides that everything is a rip off ! $5 dollars for a caprisun?

Pineapple Hotel

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and found the room to be clean and comfortable. The location was very convenient to Disney World and affordable restaurants. The free shuttle was punctual and the driver was very helpful.

Nice hotel. Not the "top of the line" but we didnt have any problems. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the air worked great, the staff was very helpful except for at the little coffee shop in the lobby. Overall, I would stay here again. Definatley worth the $$ you will save. Very close to attractions and a lot of dining options close by.

Good place near Disney!

The hotel was nice, and the staff was exceptionally friendly! We only stayed one night, but we were comfortable ... and really enjoyed the cookies we received when we checked in!

GREAT LOCATION AND PRICE! WHAT ELSE CAN I ASK FOR?

I just got back from my one week vacation from staying at this hotel, and all I can say is, I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel in Orlando. It has all the amenities and luxuries of the expensive hotels, but at a fraction of the price. Very clean and comfortable beds and rooms, and best of all, within 5 minutes to all the disney parks and downtown disney, we were practically just right around the corner. They also provide free shuttle rides to the parks, (great service). Oh, and if you like swimming pools, they have a huge pool and a seperate smaller one for the kids. Overall this has been the best hotel I’ve stayed in Orlando, in my past four visits.

Hotel is surrounded by restaurants. I would really recommend eating at any of this places before going to the parks. Out there you can get a full bar buffet, for the price of a snack in the parks. We saved quit a bit by doing this.

Pretty good stuff

Perfect location right next to downtown disney, and a lot more affordable than those Disney resorts. Only issue was the A/C didn’t work well the first night. But the repair guy fixed it shortly after we called the front desk.

it was a nice stay

it was my first time in Disney and i really had fun. Everything was close to the hotel, regular buses to the parks. very convenient. I liked it :)

im never going back

there was a beehive outside of our window and im allergic and the staff did nothing they had no channels in the room mostly news i came to have a great time and i did not the jacuzzi was relaxing and the pool was nice but the beehive never again in my life if the staff would have done something i would have liked it

Good hotel for a quick overnight

We stayed here for one night while we went to Disney DiveQuest. Good clean room and good location for finding a quick bite to eat nearby.

Don’t waste your time or your money

At first glance of the hotel one can see that it is an ok hotel. But the moment you step in, the people at the front desk look as if they don’t work there or don’t want to. The odors of the hallways were of mold and musk. The room was not welcoming and also screeched of mold. The air conditioners did not work in the laundry room and in the bedroom. We were not comfortable staying there but had no choice for one night and checked out the next day.

Good location, comfy bed, desperately in need of a makeover.

Only complaint would be the old, outdated and run down condition of the hotel. The room was clean but smelled moldy, bathroom clean but looked ancient and resturant clean but not very exciting. Would be a great hotel with a modern, updated reburbish job!

Cheap and good hotel....

I was surprised with the price and then I was surprised with the hotel. Good service, good room, good for family. Not luxury hotel, but good for the price and for the location.

Great Place to Stay for the Price

The hotel was a nice hotel. Our room 608 was clean and comfortable. The elevators were dated and sometimes scary, however. The pool was out of this world, very nice and clean. The shuttle service was a plus with many leave and return times to the parks. Employees very nice overall. Nice having a fresh bake shop in lobby, didnt care for the egg sandwich though. The discounts to the park were only if you did timeshare, then you got a bonus for tickets to park. Wasnt advised that they have airport transportation. They charge a safe fee even if you DONT use however after disputing was credited. Next to great eating and shopping areas. Balcony not worth the extra money. Overall great place and would definately stay again and have advised friends and family of it.

I packed a suitcase full of goodies from home, crackers, chips, poptarts, candy, fruit, cookies etc and flew on plane on return home used as extra space for all our wonderful goodies we were bringing back home. Dont buy Disney tickets in lobby, there ISNT a discount unless you do timeshare.

Great place and great location

I didnt know exactly what 2 expect, I had read several reviews both good n bad. First thing I did was check the beds for any uninvited guests, they were clean. The staff was very helpful n pleasant. The hotel is very, very decent. As for the mustiness I read in other reviews, I got very fortunate n didnt have any of that in my room, although I did smell some mustiness in the next room. I think this could have been avoided had they turned the a/c on higher. The gym wasnt all that but it was decent for those who want 2 work out. The swimming pool was also nice. I have 2 say I was pleased with my choice along with the location of the hotel. In the direct vicinity is a McDs, Burger King, Olive Garden, Subways, Sizzlers, Fridays, pizzerias, a super market, a 7Eleven, n more. We didnt spend the entire day at the hotel, but all in all, we had a great experience. U get what u pay for is what I kept on reading, trust me, its not as bad as they make it sound!

Ask hotel for micro/fridge n stock up on water n stuff. Some advice for those not driving, if by chance u want 2 leave any of the Disney parks earlier than the shuttle scheduled, try 2 catch the shuttles 2 any of the other hotels in the nearby area, they r only a walk away. We caught the shuttle 2 Double Tree n took a ten minute walk back 2 our hotel. Press button at crosswalk as lights can take forever!

Scary Hotel

My husband and i made a last minute trip to Disney World and picked this hotel because of the proximity to Disney and that it allowed pets. We arrived at our hotel at 2:30AM to be greated by staff in pajamas and security guards. I should have known it was going to be bad when the staff asked the security guard to check my room before i went up. The next morning i opened the blinds to find the words SAVE ME written accross the window. I immediatly requested to change rooms. The staff did not seemed surprised at the window issue and i was asked what i wanted to do about it. This hotel claims to be pet friendly, yet there is not any grass on the premises. I had to walk next door to find a small patch. The pet fee was really high at $50.00 for the quality of the rooms. I do not recommend this hotel. It will leave you with a very unhappy vacation.

Do the Wydham timeshare tour. Its only 2 hours and you save $120 on the park tickets for 2 people.

very close to parks

this hotel is very nice and the best part is that is just like 5 minutes from down town disney and the parks wich is very convenient the only thing I didn’t like is that they need to clean a litter better inside the rooms and put some type of refreshner on the hallway to maintain a more pleasant smell or clean the carpets more often, besides that everything was super it has plenty of restaurants within walking distance and the pool and jacuzzi where pretty good.
