Archontikò Village

If it's a true flavour of Greece you're looking for...look no futher than Archontiko Village, where a warm welcome and true Zakynthian history awaits you. Our traditional mansion is situated in Katastari (Alykes) in the Northeast part of the island of Zakynthos (Zante), which is one of the most fascinating Greek islands in the Ionian Sea. With Warm and Clear blue waters, fantastic child-friendly beaches and Ambrosial forests and blooming plants, no wonder, the popular island or Zakynthos is also known as “ Fiore di Levante” or Flower of the East. The Archontiko Village is a rare jewel and is open from April until end of October. It consists of the so called “manner house”, which was built in 1860 and is protected as a historic monument. It's outhouses originally traded as an Olive Oil Factory, Flour Mill and Grape press until they were lovingly restored to 7 impeccably furnished maisonettes (50 sqm), which are decorated with antiques and family heirlooms. Here is enough space for up to five persons. Furthermore, we have six furnished villas (40 sqm). Each villa has large private verandas and all have panoramic views of the Ionian sea and the bay of Alykes. Our villas are handicapped accessible.
