Tenuta Il Vallone

For your stay: room means apartement. The beautiful Farmhouse "Tenuta Il Vallone" is immersed in a valley overlooking a typical hilly landscape. There are 3 ha of olive groves, recently planted (650 plants in 2001) with the traditional Tuscany varieties. They have already started to produce a fine extra virgin olive oil. From the house you can see vineyards and olive trees, and old Medieval villages on the top of the hills. The nearest village is Monsummano Terme, which is about 5 km far from the Farmhouse, 7 km far from spa town Montecatini and 16 km from Pistoia, the provincial chief town. We are open from April 11th till October 10th, we are centrally located for visiting cultural towns such as Pisa 60 km), Lucca (28 km), and Florence (35 km) and for enjoying country pursuits such as walking, mountain-bike riding and horse riding. The road to the Farmhouse is a tiny winding lane bordered by ancient Tuscan oak trees. The impressive gates swing open onto the large garden that surrounds the Farmhouse. The inviting swimming pool (6x12 metres) is stepped into the hill below the Farmhouse and is positioned to catch all-day sun. There is also a large, private and secure parking area.
