Hotel Palacio Maldonado de Chaves is an old Palace that belonged to the Maldonado de Chaves family, dating from the XVI Century. After the Maldonado´s, and during the Peninsular War, the building becamed as Militar Governement of the City. After, converted to Royal Carabineers Head Quarters, and after that, Religius Sisters Home. Now a days converted as HOTEL PALACIO MALDONADO DE CHAVES.
