Central Medellin
This hotel was probably the best in town in the 40īs & 50īs, I donīt think they have done any renovations since. It is conveniently located near the metro but the surrounding neighborhood is chaotic and noisy. The bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom was in need of major renovations. The included breakfast was adequate but I could not find any decent restaurants in the area. I took the metro to the Poblado area for dining & entertainment. The staff was friendly but spoke little English. Luckily my basic Spanish was enough. The price was right. If on a budget, itīs probably your best bet in central Medellin.
