Convenient Hotel Close to the Airport
We stayed overnight at "Hotel Denisa" twice during this trip, once after the inbound flight and then again before the early-hours outbound flight. The hotel offers free parking, so we knew we don’t have to look for parking in the street. If the front parking lot is full, make sure to check the excess parking lot all the way to the hotel and then on the left. The hotel was in a very good condition. They offer free wireless, which was very handy for flight status and online check-in, as well as checking the news. :) The beds were comfortable and we were able to sleep very well. There was no airport noise, as the hotel is not that close to the airport. The hotel is not located downtown, so for anything outside the hotel other than the airport (for which they offer free shuttle), and the restaurant and store down the street you’ll need a car. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at "Hotel Denisa" and we’ll return there for overnight stays whenever we have flights at Otopeni, unless we specifically want to visit Bucharest.
