Not impressed
In the room there was a coffee maker, but no caraffe, cups, condiments, etc. Upon arrival the desk clerk was asked for 2 glasses, which were never produced. The desk clerk was also asked if we were staying at the hotel which would host our seminar the following morning. Her reply was " she typically only works a couple nights per week and had no idea". This was very discouraging, where I believe all hotel staff should be aware of the hotels promotions. The only thing decent were the sheets.

This was a ok hotel.
I really liked the hotel, but far away and not easy to find. The rooms were extremely comfortable, and the view was incredible. The staff was friendly, although the telephone did not work in the room.
Traveler's tip on dining
The restaraunt was closed in the hotel, but there are "plenty" food places in the area. There is also casinos close by to eat 24 hours a day if hungry. Dennys was wonderful to eat breakfast all day, if you wanted to.

Not a Bad Place to Lay Your Head
Id read most of the reviews, so was pleasantly suprised by how good this hotel was for the low price. Its in the middle of a business district, so was nice and quiet on the weekend that we were there. Pool was clean and the deck was tidy. Plenty of towels. Beds nice and comfortable. Grounds clean and free of debris. All in all... a very nice hotel, and Id be happy to stay there again the next time were in Kansas City.
