A Beautiful Place
We stayed at this wonderful victorian home as part of our "time away from the kids" vacation. When we booked, we really didn’t know what to expect. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, and it was a beautiful sight to pull up and see the romantic lights lit in the Victorian home. The host had no problem with us checking in late, and the guests get to park in the driveway rather than the street. When we got there, he came out to meet us at the car. The inside of the home is beautifully appointed with lots of warm wood and true victorian antiques. We were shown around and then taken to our room. There were other guests, but we never saw them. Meals are not provided, but you are free to use the kitchen at will. If you go out and need to know where anything is, all you have to do is ask. We really enjoyed speaking with the host, and had a great time admiring all the antiques in the home. We will stay here again whenever we go to San Diego. We loved our stay!

This hotel is close to the Gas Lamp Quarter, but just far enough away so as not to be crowded with traffic. There is a quick mart within walking distance and many places to eat.

Beautiful Restoration
Wonder home with a host that was extemely friendly and knowledgable of the area. Our room was very clean and roomy with easy access to back yard and Koy pond. No a/c, however even in the dog-days of August, it was not needed. Home is conveniently located just outside of downtown and the Gaslamp District. A nice cup of coffee to greet you in the morning. Balboa Park nearby with plenty to do for a great weekend getaway. Will definately return, Thanks!

Clean place with all the ammenities that you can expect
Was my first experience on a Guest House and I just can say that I’ll be back. Great service you feel like you are visiting your grandparents.
