Hampton - Monroe
I always find Hamptons to be comfortable. This was not any different. Unfortunately it is located in a depressed area. Beyond the parking lot there was only fast food unless you drove down to the next exit. On Saturday night, the traffic was horrendous as the teens took to the streets. I had read reviews where people didn’t feel safe. I felt secure while on the property and had no issues with the hotel itself.

If you want better access to restuarants, stay at the Marriott, which is near the mall and the major chain stores.

local food was excellent. I enjoyed the Crawfish and aligator tail.
