Excellent for a basic hotel.
The hotel was quiet, clean and pleasant. It was actually the best stay I have had in a basic services hotel. The room was adequately equipped with an in-room microwave and refrigerator. The staff was polite, friendly and helpful, although I did not make any extraordinary request of them so I do not know how they would handle something outside of the norm. Free wireless internet access is always appreciated, and although I did need to contact tech support they were also responsive and helpful. The included continental breakfast was of good quality, although the selection was somewhat limited compared to some other hotels or chains, and it was obvious that the hotel was not originally set up for the service. The property is not a new one, but it is well maintained and clean, and has been updated in the past few years. The TV has not been updated to a LCD or other type of flat-panel. I had no occasion to try the pool.

The smell was unbearable
There was such a strong odor of cleaning disinfectant that it burned my eyes and throat. I told the hotel about it - and they said they had no other rooms and no one else had complained. I have stayed in this hotel a lot for 6 years - and I won’t stay there again.

Would definitely stay here again
I stayed here the last week in April for one night for business. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and had all the amenities that I would hope for such as an ironing board and hairdryer, etc. The continental breakfast in the morning was very good with a decent selecton. Very good location right off the interstate, easy to find. Easy commute to San Francisco or Sacramento.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
I called the hotel to try to get them to match the expedia rate and they said getting a room through expedia is the cheapest way to get a room there.
