Good Southern Hospitality
I really did enjoy my stay at the Days Inn. The view down the street was meditation to my soul. It has a BBQ place directly across the street. It is better to get the fish there since the BBQ was a little tough. The only thing that I did not like about the room is that I kept seeing dead bugs on the floor in the room and in the bathroom. The only thing I gathered from it is when the room is cleaned, the staff sprays the room each time. Other than that, we had a grand time. We used the pool but was kicked out because the hotel staff heard that a tornado storm was heading our way. It still showed us the southern hospitality and made us feel as if the staff cared about our stay there. Also, Wal-Mart is across the street, along with a lot of the fast food chains such as Sonic, Taco Bell, Wendys, Popeyes, and a host of others. There are other stores like Sally’s Beauty Supply and clothing stores. So this hotel is close to everything that one will need while on a trip away from home.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
One of the things that I did not do was look in the drawer to see that the hotel has a listing of places that one can go to visit. I didn’t realize it until the end of my trip. It is a great resource for you while you are in Brookhaven, MS.
