Perfect
This was a quaint little hotel close to the Eiffel Tower and right across the street from 2 train lines. We bought passes and took it everywhere we wanted to go and they are so quiet we could sleep with our french doors open. The hotel staff was pleasant and accommodating. I would research restaurants before you go. Remember: this is a 3 star hotel not a 5. They had no recommendations for nice dinners. The rooms were clean and modern, the bathroom was very large for a hotel in Europe. The location was fabulous, we learned on the last day that we were only blocks from an amazing outdoor market. We felt extremely safe walking around at all times of day or night. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
I would defintely recommend buying a train pass for however long you are there and buying the museum pass. The museum pass may not save you a ton of money but it saves a boatload of time not having to stand in line. If you have questions about the train, they usually have English speaking attendants at the tourist stops but the attendants at the small little neighborhood stops do not and really dont care to help. I would recommend learning some basic French words and phrases before you go. We saw a difference in the treatment and service we received when we attempted to speak a little French and our rude American compatriots that did not attempt at all. DO NOT go to Les Halles to shop unless you want to shop at a typical American mall.

Note
The hotel is located in an excellent location. The desk people were extremely helpful in suggesting sites and eating places. The room was very small. The room was clean & the overall experience was excellent. I would warn all of the small roooms. There was almost no room for baggage. You basically have a clean bed in a small room with barley enough room to turn around in. If you are into space this defintely is NOT your place to stay. I would stay there again due to its location.

Great Location & service
I loved this hotel. Yes, the standard rooms are VERY small and the shower was a bit strange with the half glass, but the hotel itself is in the best location for everything you will need in Paris. The Eiffel Tower is less than 5 minutes from the hotel steps and walking by it everyday of you visit is worth the stay alone. There are good cafes right outside as well as the Metro is across the street. You can walk to the Seine River, Champs Elysees and to the Hop On Hop Off Bus Stop. The Train Ride to Versailles is like 6 stops. The best thing about the hotel is the service. They speak English and were so helpful with suggestions for everything. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone visiting Paris.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
I feel the Hop On Hop Off Bus is worth doing for 2 days. Map out the routes and you can see all of the attractions in Paris and even get a boat ride down the Seine. Also, for your budget, there are grocery stores in the area to stock up on snacks because the hotel breakfast is pricy and not really worth it.
