Mesa Gateway
This Best Western is incredibly nice. Very close to Mesa-Gateway Airport (which is why we chose it). Looks brand new. Service was awesome, breakfast was great (eggs and sausage, biscuits and gravy) plus all the other standards. It is in Gilbert, which is a growing area, so not much within walking distance, but served for a great overnight stay before heading to the airport.
Be AWARE! Arizona is a zero tolerance state. If you have any alcohol in your system you will be arrested for drunk driving. We were there five days before finding this out. . . Just saying. .. .

Great customer service!
This was a great hotel and we had a great room. We didn’t spend that much time in the room because we were on the go.. I will say on the first night we were there, our room smelled awefully of something (we later found the smell was from a dairy farm about 2 or 3 miles away)... They did let us know that this smell usually does not interfere with the hotel... On our second night we asked if they had a candle or something and an employee handed us a spray from her purse which made that night worth the pay!!!
Great breakfast, very nice employee’s, comfortable beds... But that smell was pretty bad!!!

Excellent place to stay
Our son was playing in a tournament at Big League Dreams, and this hotel is less than two miles away from the ballpark!! It was SO convenient -- we’ll definitely stay here again. This is a brand new hotel, and the rooms and common areas are very clean and nice. Nice variety of food for breakfast and well-tended. Lots of other restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Only possible negative is the cow-farm smell in the area at night. Not a big deal to us -- don’t smell it in the hotel, and its only noticeable at night.
