travelodge: always a winner!
We stayed at this hotel off-season and therefore got a great rate. The room was comfortable and clean; the staff friendly and helpful; and of course, we were mere steps from the beach. I am very satisfied with Travelodge!

Note that if you stay at any hotel on the Outer Banks during off-season, most restaurants serving dinner will close at or before 8 p.m.

Value for the money
The Hotel may not be beach front property but walking distance to the beach. Public beach access across the street from hotel. Enjoyed my stay here. Staff was friendly. WIl return and consider staying Nags Head Travelodge again when I return. I think it is a good overall value for the money spent.

BEACH! Want good deserted beaches and dunes? Go down towards the parks along Bodie Island and Oregon Inlet.

The employees vere very helpful anytime I had a request.I got locked out of my car with two small children and they went out of their way to help me.
