I want to go back!
My husband and I spent a terrific five days in Queenstown, staying four nights at the Marina. Our accommodations were wonderful and very "home like". After traveling for 2+ weeks, we were really ready for this nice respite. The view of the lake and the mountains was spectacular and different every day. Our proprietors went above and beyond the call in providing excellent service. While we live in the US, I hope to go back to New Zealand and would definitely stay at the Marina again.

Spacious & modern apartments near Queenstown
The property is new and so the furnishing of the apartment is very modern. The two-bedroom apartment is clean, spacious and has a lovely lake-front view. It was fully equipped with cooker hob, oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, washing machine and dryer, heat pump and heated washroom floors; everything you need for a comfortable stay. The only downside is that is it located just next to the Frankton-Queenstown road and can be slightly noisy but the double-glazed windows does cut down the noise a bit.

Great!
Me and my husband were pleasantly surprised by how huge and luxurious this place was. Long hallway leading up to a great living room and kitchen with a beautiful view of the lake. Service was friendly and helpful. Note that this isn’t in the city centre (about a five min drive away) but I thought it was nice to be away from the hustle.
Traveler's tip on dining
Fish and chips stand (near novotel) by the lake is delicious and very affordable. Patagonia chocolates nearby is great! Get their hot chocolate.
