Small, inexpensive, but good location
Small hotel converted from studio apartments, but it is close to Central Station and Chinatown. Good for single or small groups of travelers.

Not Impressed
The room smelled very pungently of smoke- but smoking was not allowed. Ok beds and marginally clean rooms.

Could have been better
Aarons hotel is right smack in the middle of China town. I could have probably saved my money and stayed at backpackers. Shuttle to and from the airport was 14 AUS each way. Everything was fairly far away, I had to take a bus to everything which COULD get expensive. The opera house was about 15 minutes with the bus and 5-10 minutes walking distance on top of that. I enjoyed the security, although it definitly could have been much cleaner.
