Not impressed at all to say the least

The hotel room was dirty. The drawers in the chest of drawers would not stay shut, they kept sliding down to the floor. The bed was not made properly. The sheets were on the bed crooked, when I pulled down the top covers all of the covers came off the bed. The beds were the worst I have ever slept on. Men were in the parking lot late at night cooking out and drinking alcohol, hanging over the rails and talking loud across the parking lot to each other. Every Business and home in the area had bars on all of the windows and doors which made a statement of being unsafe for anyone. This was a scary experience. And most of all it was not worth the money. Way over priced for the location, comfort, and over all condition of the room, and the staff was not that friendly. It was a very old hotel and not well kept.

Stay closer in to town. The outer sections of San Antonio seemed to be a little too rough and run down.

Adequate and affordable

The Days Inn was adequate and affordable. The staff was very helpful when they inadvertantly put me in a smoking room and they accomodated my request to change. The location was not in the a great area for food and other services but it met my needs for a one night stay.

Updated, basic room directly off of the highway

Room had updated furnishings with a small fridge and microwave. Located directly off the highway between a Sonic and an empty parking lot. Bed was comfortable. Easy to get to downtown. Very basic.
