Friendly Staff, Comfy Room, Great Price!
I liked the atmosphere of the lobby area. It isn’t your typical hotel front desk. The counter is lower (it reminded me of a coffee house) and the staff doesn’t "hide" behind it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were able to recommend great local restaraunts and fun things to do and see.
Great hotel to stay at for shopping. Very close to a number of great stores and the North Point Mall.

Great hotel!
I was more than pleasantly surprised about the Hyatt Place North Point. It was exceptionally clean and new-looking. The staff were great! Props to Mike (PM front desk) and Ibrahim (AM front desk) and the staff. They even took me over to the other Hyatt Place a few miles away in the shuttle every day for my conference which was nearby. There was just one guy at the front desk at night whose attitude was not up to par. At least he smiled, and offered service, but he was a bit too snippy.

Good value/price balance
Hotel was very nice and the service was very good. The only discomfort was the noisy airconditioner what made sleaping somewhat of a problem.

Convenient, comfortable, courteous staff
Room was spacious with comfortable lounge area and a handy fridge. Good free cold breakfast with option to buy hot food. Friendly staff willing to assist.

So glad I chose this hotel to stay at!
I had the option to stay at the hotel where the meetings I was attending in Atlanta were at, but chose the Hyatt instead. It was a great experience, and within walking distance of both great shopping and great food. The staff was very helpful as well.

Great Price! Great layout
Hyatt Place is a fantastic choice for a hotel! The new renovations are really awesome. There is plenty of space for all of your luggage to be in one area and you to relax in a totally different space! The wireless internet is always a plus. Check them out.

Excellent Business Stay Hotel
There are so many good things about this hotel but it does one problem. The Good: Service, large room, 42" LCD TV, mini lounge room, comfy bed, free internet, modern, continental breakfast included. Everything you need to be comfortable short stay. The Bad: The air conditioner is one of those wall units (not built-in) which was so noisy I couldn’t sleep at night with it on. Turning off - created a stuffy room. If Hyatt replaces the air-con then it’s 5/5.

Very Modern
Great hotel, staff and breakfast. The rooms are all outfitted with a 42" plasma TV and very nice. Big couch in each room makes it feel more like home.

Driving in and around Atlanta is no joy, but the Hyatt Place Atlanta/Alpharetta/North Point Mall is located an easy 10 minute drive from a MARTA station. Exploring Atlanta once you’ve parked your car at MARTA, the cosmopolitan world of Atlanta becomes easy to access.

Concert trip to the Verizon Wireless Ampitheatre
The Hyatt Place Atlanta/Alpharetta/North Point Mall is the place to stay when attending a concert at the Verizon Wirless Ampitheatre. The accomodations are outstanding and the staff is great. Very nice shopping and dining in the area.

Very up-to-date rooms
The room was impressive in how up to date all the amenities were. The only negative is that the bathtub was not replaced when they refurbished the room and it had many places where the enamel was gone. The lighting could be better in the tub area. Everything else was very high quality. Exercise area was very nice also.

Great Location
This hotel was the most convienantly located to shopping and resturaunts in the area. There was a Barnes and Noble, Starbucks, and movie theater in the same parking lot.

A no frills experience
In our suite there was a contrast of old and new. Carpet and lamps were new, wallpaper and furniture old. Undersized microwave and the fridge was working, but way too loud. Typical hotel HVAC unit was also a bit noisey. Extra blanket and pillows in the room were a plus. Nothing extraordinary about bathroom. If you’re looking for an inexpensive and [relatively] clean place to lay your head and keep your stuff while enjoying Alpharetta [North Metro Atlanta] GA you’re good. They have a decent high speed internet connection, but not wireless. If you enjoy [and are looking for] amenities, this is not the place for you.

Really good shopping and dining in a very close proximity of this hotel. Downtown Atlanta is a straight shot down GA 400...but during the weekdays traffic is challenging...okay its downright brutal. Plan, plan, and plan some more.
