good, but could be better
i was a little disappointed with this stay. i always love westin because of the heavenly bed, but this time the stay felt a bit less nice than other visits. we opted to pay less for a city view, and the view was definitely not good. you will have to pay 20.00 per day for parking - so just be aware of that. it is in a nice location with waking distance to the gaslamp. the rooms are nice and the bed is lovely. i guess, just realize this westin doesn’t feel quite as wonderful as some of the others.

Best hotel bed ever!
The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. EVER!

Holiday treat
Got a good deal on a room here with a bay view for Labor day. It was pleasant. Only gripe was that breakfasts were not consistent from day to day. Otherwise nice...within walking distance of Amtrak and Shoreline Village.
Traveler's tip on shopping
Bicycle tours (from $15-$30) are so worth it...especially after lots of shopping.
