good place
The hotel is quite near to the airport although not at walking distance. However they were helpful in calling a taxi for us at 3 in the morning. In general I recommend it.

A great end to a great trip.
Dorint Hotel Airport Tegel was the final hotel of a 2 week trip to Europe. We thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It was very near to the airport, which made catching an early morning flight a breeze. We were able to use the U-bahn to visit downtown Berlin from a stop only a block away. We were amazed that even though the planes land right over the hotel, once we closed the windows, we could not hear them at all. Most importantly, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room was inexpensive.

NOT AN AIRPORT HOTEL
20 Euros to get to the hotel from Berlin Center. We figured we spend the last night there that we don’t have to get up to early for an 7 am flight. You are still a 15 minute / 10 Euro Cab ride away from the airport. No Shuttle offered.
