R & R at the Park Taipei
Stayed here at the end of May for two nights. Didn’t realize it at the time why it didn’t seem popular or not yet reviewed, but found out afterward that they were in a "soft opening". The grand opening is scheduled for June 09. The hotel was great. I actually changed my room after checking in, and they were very gracious about it (small fee of course for my upgrade). Very conveniently located near a metro station and an easy/cheap taxi ride to whereever else you want to go. Took a walk in DAAN park nearby late at night - very romantic. Had late night pizza at a place (that we walked back to the hotel from) called Alley Cat. Check the internet for address. Basement, divey, but good atmosphere and decent food. Can’t say enough good things. I read these reviews to make my lodging decisions, and told the manager I was surprised to not see any reviews, but would change that when i returned from my trip. Here you go. By the way, go se the CKS Memorial - very impressive.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Ate at "alley cat" within walking distance (through DAAN Park) Metro is close Taxi’s are cheap. CKS Memorial a must.
