Great bang for your buck!
The Imperial Swan Hotel and Suites was extremely nice for the price- granted, it’s not a 5 star hotel, but for the price, much much better than I would have thought. The lobby was nice and the room was clean. Before I stayed, I read reviews in which other people said it had an awful smell. While I was there I noticed a smell, but it wasn’t awful- more like a little old lady had just walked by type of smell. I assume it was something they clean the carpet with. Also, there is a Panera right across the street and a Starbucks down the street a little, which is always a plus. If I ever find myself in Lakeland/Bartow again, I’ll stay at the Imperial Swan again.

This hotel was rated as a 3 star. The rating team needs to visit the hotel. The outward appearance is ok. As soon as you walk in the musty smell gets you. My room stunk like mildew and the carpets were wet and sticky. I had to wear my flipflops the floor was so gross. The bed frame was cracked and had not support to it, you kind of just sunk in the bed. The TV system was a hassle to navigate to say the least. The shower had great water pressure if you wanted a massage. You can not adjust the spray it just came out in one big fire hose stream. Lastley the pool was not lite enough. Well needless to say I was not satisfied with the hotel. I paid to much per night, it was worth a lot less.

not impressed
the hotel reminded me of scary movies. I was a bit disappointed that the pool was freezing there was no hot tub and the beds were super hard. I left a wake-up call for 5"30 a.m. good thing sleeping on the beds of stone was a wash because the call never came. I fest it to be a waste any price over 50.00 per night is a total rip-off. Oh yeah pee on the carpet when elevators doors opened. YUCK!
