Hyatt Place Greensboro

Affordable nice choice!

Very nice hotel. 1 thing I don’t like is the room arrangement: the restroom mirror is outside the restroom, and is facing directly straightly to the master bed. I personally don’t like facing the mirror on bed nor wake up and see the mirror in the 1st place. Others are fine. 85% satisfication recommended!

it was wonderful

I was plesantly suprised to find the suite that awaited me. The large room has a king bed, sectional sofa, desk, writing areas, dressing area, and an extra sink near the mini fridge-- no microwave, but lots of fresh food downstairs. They offered room service. Everything was neat, clean and in very good condition, no wear and tear in my room.

Clean and good breakfast

Enjoy the hotel. It was nice, clean and close to restaurants and walmart(etc). The staff was friendly enjoyed the continental breakfast (fruit, bagels,yogurt,cerals,coffee, hot chocolate & juices) but also have hot breakfast(omelets) for a cost. Overall it was nice.

Checkout time was @ noon. If you are still running behind just let them know and they will work with you.

Most of the staff was great and the room was extremely comfortable. I enjoyed the TV and sitting area along with the separated sleeping area.

Hyatt Place Greensboro: a Great Choice

We were staying the night for a wedding just outside of Greensboro. I had a tough time coming to a final decision of what hotel to choose, but would not hesitate next time to choose Hyatt Place Greensboro. The location was convenient, the staff was nice, and the room was very nice and comfortable. It was a great choice for the price we paid.

Can’t wait to go back

loved the place, def. would stay again. staff was helpful although one of the housekeepers offered my fiance beer(I should have complained, but didnt). there are many food places close by. overall I would stay again.

if you plan to go to the zoo, make sure u check the time they close, we drove out there only to find the place closed at such an early time.

Good Stay

I was visiting Greensboro for the first time to see my daughter. The location was within good proximity of UNCG were my daughter attends. I was pleasantly surprised with the contemporary look and feel of the room. I stayed on the 6th floor which was good but I did come back to my room several times and smelled smoke. I informed the front desk so I wouldn’t be charged and hopefully they looked into it. All and all, the staff was nice and the accomodations good.

Much nicer than the other similarly rated hotels

We recently stayed in Greensboro for several days split by a week. First we stayed at another similarly rated hotel in the same area. and were extremely disapointed in the hotel’s run down condition of the rooms. On our return we stayed at the Hyatt Place and what a difference. The room was much newer with nicer amenities. More spacious and a modern TV. All at a considerably lower price. I highly reccomend the Hyatt Place over the other.

One of the Best Hotels I’ve Had the Pleasure of Using

My daughter and I were there for her to compete in a track meet.I am so very happy that I choose the Hyatt Pl. she was so well rested after competing each night I couldn’t pry her away from the hotel,she refused to go site seeing. The bed and sofa were so comfortable she slept on them both. Thanks for everything.

Greatness in Greensboro

Wonderful experience at this hotel. Considerate and helpful staff, amazing hotel room design, huge plasma TV, although the bathroom was just so so. Nice breakfast offering in the morning but tons of places to grab breakfast nearby. Visit this place if you are ever in town.

Was not at all satisfied

no microwave-Sheets changed every three days. No room for clothes.Cheap with soap and toilet paper.We bought our own.

Hyatt Greensboro - Beautiful Rooms and Great Location

We stayed here for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. The room was huge and extremely comfortable -a home away from home. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great place within G’boro to stay. Convenient to 40.

Would definitely return!

My boyfriend and I stayed here while attending the first round of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament at Greensboro Colliseum. The hotel exceeded our expectations. Service was friendly, rooms were very clean and spacious. The location was about a 5-8 minute drive from the Colliseum and otherwise perfect. There are tons of change restaurants to grab an affordable bite to eat and there were convenience stores right nearby making it easy to pick up items we had forgotten. The AM paper at our door made for a great read while waiting in the airport to return home. If in Greensboro again, will for sure stay at the Hyatt Place.

Very Stylish--great room amenities

Very impressed with the contemporary style and cleanliness of this hotel. Make sure you get to continental breakfast on-time. When they say 9:30 they mean it! If you are one minute late..forget about breakfast. Love the room layout and size. Definitely would recommend

Good experience

Nice design elements make this a good place to stop down for a night. V good deal for the money. Generic location in the midst of national chain jungle mall-dom...but, hey ... welcome to 21c America

Expensive for amenaties offered good location for shopping and eating

This hotel is in my opinion (average) it is a little out of date as far as rooms go. My room had some type of huge air & heat unit that didnt do a good job heating my room the bar down stairs only offer food that is cook or warmed in microwave and high priced beer and wine.Not the worst Ive stayed in but also not the best for this price range.

The location of this hotel helps it out alot not that its not plenty others around it you can get to just about anything you would want in a very short amount of time dining , shopping , bars etc

Very Nice -- Great Price

We’ve stayed in hotels w/ the same amenities and paid much more...only "complaints" -- no microwaves in the room; not enough handicap parking on the front side of the hotel. Other than, that the staff was very friendly and accommodating (showed me the difference in an accessible and non-accessible room -- not enough of a difference of us to switch, the). Would definitely stay there, again.

Re: the free breakfast -- truly continental (bagels and fruit). If you want hot breakfast w/o paying exorbitant prices, there are several good restaurants in walking distance.

It was nice, but...

The hotel was extremely nice, wonderful rooms, great service, good location, etc. The bed was just okay. There was NO room service available and the breakfast area was really small. We felt like we had to fight to just get a cup of coffee in the morning.

The Hyatt is one of the better hotels that I have stayed at. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.

Big on schmear, lacks basics

Hotel had no phone books in room. How to find restaurants, entertainment, businesses etc.? I was told "Rooms don’t come with phone books". Also, bathroom door knob was broken. Despite 2 calls and staying there 3 days, it was never fixed.Also, maid service always came late in the day though I requested it come during the day when i was not in the room.Unhappy place worth 2 stars at most.

Needs some refinement

For the price this hotel needs a bit more work. The check in was slow, primarily because of the complexity of the computer system. The room was reasonably nice, but not exceptional in terms of size or amenities. For the premium I certainly expected more, especially with so many competitors within a 3 mile radius.

The hotel was recently remodeled and comfort was in mind when it was. The staff was very friendly and the hotel room was very clean and modern.
