Great location and price!
Trip to San Juan was great and part of that was due to the great location of this hotel. We were able to access buses into Old San Juan within a block of the hotel for under $1.00 per trip. The hotel dining prices were a bit steep but many of the restaurants in San Juan were also. The hotel was clean and well maintained and the staff was helpful in providing access to additional entertainment venues. I would stay here again.
If you take the buses and you are a senior citizen, pay the senior citizen rate as the drivers do not ask you for a special residents card to obtain this fare. Also read the menus before dining as some restaurants in the area of Old San Juan are over-priced. Stay away from the hamburgers which didn’t taste like beef to me.

Nice place to stay before embarking on a Criuse
Comfy place to saty, ppl is very nice and just a few minutes away from the pier.
If you are going to San Juan to embark on a Cruise, know that near de pier there’s a place that can storage your bags until you hope in the ship (wich is usually late in the afternoon).

Marriott will short change you
If you’re a rewards member you won’t get credit for your stay, the employes from other marriots like to check in to this one and have loud parties all night. The valet parking employees and the bellboy were the most courteous and helpful of the bunch. The housekeeping crew wsas excellent.
