Lovely Place with a Great View!!
We have been staying at this hotel for many years now. I am a very picky person when it come to hotels and I love this hotel. It has that victorian feel, is very clean and very well kept. The rooms are clean, nicely deocrated and include a microwave, small refrigerator and seperate bar area. The VIEW!!! If you are staying in the Lancaster area to be near the beautiful open fields and to see the amish people this hotel is the BEST. The view out the back is spectacular! The hotel also has a nice indoor pool which my kids enjoy. Lastly, they offer a free breakfast complete with homemade waffles and omlets, hash browns, baked oatmeal, other hot dishes and all the other standard breakfast items (cereal, oj, etc.). Overall I would give this hotel a ten rating if I could. If you are looking for a nice, quite, clean hotel with a spectacular view then give this hotel a try. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! Don’t forget to pick up some whoopie pies at the local bakery before you leave the Lancaster area, they are the best!
Go to Dutch Wonderland with your children. If you have children under the age of 7 years old this place is terrific! Forget Hershey and goto Dutch Wonderland.
