Villa Vignamaggio

Vignamaggio is one of the oldest wine estates situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico between Siena and Florence. Inside the renaissance villa, where the famous Monna Lisa painted by Leonardo used to live, we have suites and rooms; the farmhouses close to the main villa have been renewed according to the typical Tuscan style. Vignamaggio is also the location of the famous movie, taken from the Shakespeare’s tale “Much Ado About Nothing”. In the main hall of the villa we have a meeting room for meetings and incentives. All accommodation are equipped with air conditioning and independent heating. Tennis ground, two swimming pools, children playground, gym and Wellness centre (treatments of “wine therapy”)and Jacuzzi pool are available. Horse back riding. Golf is in the neighbourhood. The restaurant with typical Tuscan cooking is open during the week only for the guests. Short cooking classes with our chef Cristina. Wine, vinsanto, grappa and olive oil produced at the estate are sold at the wine shop. Guided tours of the cellars and of the famous “Italian garden” followed by a wine tasting are organised upon reservation.
