quiet place with pleasant surroundings
The hotel was very clean, quiet, and had a beautiful park and exercise path within easy walking distance. It has little signage and we were not sure we were parking in the right place, but we were there.

Historic Hotel
Great views of the river. Comfortable and spacious room. Jacuzzi was a little small and was extremely difficult to turn on. Breakfast was ok. Great access to the bike path. We had an enjoyable stay.

Great location in the Green Bay area. Easy access to highways. Quiet, courteous staff, fine breakfast offerings.

Very Impressed
My boyfriend and I stayed two nights in a fireplace suite for a "getaway" weekend. The hotel was great, service was great, and Andrews had amazing food! I would definitly recommend this hotel to friends and family and cannot wait to stay there again!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
There is a cute little theater near the hotel that only has one screen. It was much cheaper than the normal big theater that has 10 or more screens. First theater that I have ever been too where I could get an alcoholic beverage and they served food right to your seat if you so wished.

Great place to stay
This was a very quaint little Inn. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean and well maintained. We loved the atmosphere and homey feeling. THe continental breakfast was great with a nice selection. We have already mentioned this hotel to family and friends and plan on returning.

Great Stay
Old building but well kept. Stayed for a "Door County weekend". Cheaper than Door county options and probably was way nicer. We had a walk out private deck. We enjoyed watching the ducks. It was hard to believe you were in the city. You must have dinner at Andrews located in the motel. My best meal ever! Thanks!

Escape to Depere
The James Street Hotel was very inviting and comfortable. My husband and I stayed one of the lower level deck suites room. Next time we would like to see what an upper level room would be like with a better view of the Fox river.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
The Fox River trail for hiking,biking or roller blading is right outside the front entrance of the hotel.
