Location Location Location
The hotel itself was nice, but all of the rooms (except for the suites) are right next to a major highway that has heavy traffic 24 hours every day. Unless you’re a very sound sleeper, bring earplugs. I was unable to sleep during my first night at this hotel because of the noise from the highway.

In Process
This hotel is under new management and is being resurrected into a Days Inn quality hotel, and there are problems during this transition time. When I arrived to check in, my room wasn’t ready. When I went to see where the staff were in the cleaning process, I found a man on the floor using a screwdriver on something (I couldn’t see what), the couch was overturned, and the room reeked of a horrible smell that would knock a person dead after a few minutes! The desk offered a different room apologizing for the problem. Everything was fine until I came home that night at 10:30 pm and found that the air conditioner/heater was not working. I called the front desk and reported it. The manager came to look at it, but was not an electrician and couldn’t diagnose or fix the problem. He offered a change of rooms, but I declined as it was late and I was not feeling well. He promised a maintenance man would come the next day after I left for the day and fix the problem. When I returned that afternoon,it still didn’t work. The desk people offered a room change, but I was tired and was going to ckeck out the next morning, so I declined.Since they kept offering and I kept declining, I do not blame the management at all. The staff there are actually wonderful! They were very helpful and accomadating, and tried their best to put me in a room without air problems and make me as comfortable as possible. As a single woman there, I felt very safe.

Only a few short miles to Huntington Beach, Surf City of the US, without spending a fortune.Right off the 405 freeway which will take you to Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm is a short distance away. Drive several more miles on another freeway and you’re at Univeral Studios.

No frills, cheap and clean
We stayed for two nights and it was perfect. We needed more towels and they gave them to us. We forgot a toothbrush and they gave us one. The place was clean, nice and inexpensive. They even included breakfast! We’d go back.

This hotel is just 4 miles from Huntington Beach, and lots of fun shopping. Great restaurants and night life.
