Impressed hotel in Venice
We stayed one week from 8/4/09 to 8/11/09. The hotel has no name in front so Its very hard to find it from the water shuttle drop off point. The front desk is helpful to send people to get us. The decoration in the room is very nice. The room is very clean. The front desk, especially Alexendra is vey helpful. The breakfast is OK overall, Francisco is very friendly to satisfy our request. The hotel is in good location, 5 minutes walking to San Marco or Rialto. We can get free transportation Murano thru the hotel. Remember the restaurant outside, in front of the hotel refused to serve if we wear short. I would like to recommmend this hotel.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Two intersting attraction; Basilic church (dont wear T top or mini skirt) and Doge palace in San Marco Square. Must see Murano and Burato one day each space. Dining at the restaurant aways from Grant canal is much cheaper and better. Gifts are sold with cheaper price with the shops on the way to the train station. We can buy fresh fruits at the market behind Rialto bridge everyday before 1PM.

Good option for a few days in Venice...
The hotel is small, confortable, recently restored (I believe it used to be an Embassy or diplomatic house) and it is very well located. Breakfast was above-average for European standards and people were friendly. You can take a "water taxi" right to the entrance...
