Three Nights at the Tremont
Needed to find a decent and economical place to stay in Baltimore and the TREMONT popped up. Price was very good and the bang I got for my dollar was good. Good locale, loved that the windows actually OPEN for some fresh air, beds were surprisingly comfy and really appreciated the mini kitchen. The staff, from check in to check out, was ABSOLUTELY wonderful. I can forgive alot if they treat me good and they DID! Rooms a bit bare for this style king but I managed. I would stay there again if only to maybe catch a glimpse of John Waters who sometimes stays there. A big plus is its closeness to good restaurants on Charles Street (try JOSS!)and the wonderful SUPER FRESH market directly behind the hotel.
The immediate area around the TREMONT is good because of the fab places to eat at and the SUPER FRESH market right behind the hotel. Lots and lots of variety and very good prices. Walking distance to the Inner Harbor for more tourist related fun.

great place to stay
the hotel was beautiful and the staff was very nice. the deli in the hotel wasn’t great but the hotel was so well located that it was easy to find other places to eat. we had to park in a garage which was a bit more expensive than we liked but the hotel itself was wonderful.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
the hotel is right in the downtown so there’s no point in driving anywhere. the inner harbor and many museums are within walking distance which is really convenient.
