Was OK for a Backup Hotel
We normally stay at Days Inn or Best Western. It was Ok, oldfashioned, run by foreigners that did not understand english very well. The breakfast area is only one table with 5 chairs. Not enough. The rooms were roomy with modern TV but using a satellite dish versus cable. hard to use. showers only no bath tubs. Would only stay again if had to.
Traveler's tip on dining
North of there on Freemont street is a good restaurant chain called Black Bear, very good food, roomy, etc. Dennys is just a few block away for a good breakfast.

Really bad
This was the absolute worst hotel Ive stayed at in terms of cost to value. The bathroom door did not fit correctly and woke the other people in the room when anyone went in/out of the bathroom during the night; the toilet did not refill and we had to take the back apart to refill the tank. Despite all the signs to save water by re-using sheets, etc., the shower wasted more water out of the bath spicket than made it to the shower head. When we tried to contact the front desk person in the morning, there was noone available. We booked the place because of the pool/hot tub, but the hot tub was old and lukewarm, and the hours of use are restricted to 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. I usually pay much less than this for a room, and this was pretty much the worst.

It was okay
I have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and I am pretty much a creature habit. I have never really been impressed with this hotel. The first time I stayed here the lady at the front desk was rude to me when I checked in, but since then I havent seen her and its been a nice place to stay. Its clean and all of the other staff has been very friendly. There has been water stains around the toilet in each room I have stayed in and that musty hotel smell that seems to be at every hotel. I always stay at this hotel for the price and being a young student its always been a great price.
