Excellent value for the Price
I would recommend this hotel to anyone for business or pleasure. It also was very pet friendly. It is located near numerous restaurants and shopping. They also have an excellent breakfast layout although you need to get there early when the hotel is fully booked. The only hit I had was that although we were in a non-smoking pet room, you could still tell the room had been a smoking room at some time in the past.

Fitness Fiasco
The hotel was very nice as far as being up to date, clean, tastefully decorated, etc. However, when I book a hotel I book one specifically with a fitness room. The Jameson had a very nice, modern fitness facility--with a crappy treadmill! It’s not much good to have a fitness room that is decorated snappy if the equipment is in poor condition. I ended up taking my walk around the parking lot because the hotel is located on a busy access road off the interstate. I usually enjoy staying at a Jameson, but that really put a damper on it. The maintenance guy on duty looked at the treadmill, but could not fix it. Routine maintenance & keeping children/youth out of fitness room would probably solve this.

Modern Hotel with Southern Hospitality
I visit Augusta, Georgia frequently to visit relatives in the area. I am always pleased with Jameson Suite quality, cleanliness, price, and hospitality. I also feel very safe at this location - as I do travel alone. I would highly recommend trying this hotel.
