Not bad at all!

Short walk from Paddington station; easy with luggage if traveling light. I was impressed by the fresh, clean and modern appearance of the entry and lobby, but when I stepped off the elevator, I became concerned by the stained carpet and disheveled hallways. Fortunately, the room was also fresh, clean and modern! Small, but no different than many European hotels. Bed was definitely hard, but I slept very well. Nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance on Queens Way. All staff I had contact with were exceptional. Free internet in lobby... wonderful! Restaurant pricey, but very good quality food.

Wanna in the heart of London, Caesar is the place for you!

I first thought these testimonials and feedbacks are carefully screened prior to being posted on the web so as to attract clientele both for Expedia and the hotel being promoted itself. Boy was I wrong. The location is perfect, walking distance from Paddington Underground Station and the infamous Hyde Park. Once you’ve walked through the park (10 minutes) there’s Piccadili Street shopping for you, with Harrod’s at the palm of your hand. If I could put my satisfaction in a few words, I would say the hotel is very comfortable, the rooms--though relatively small--are comfortable enough and I’d even say--spacious for the strategic London area where the hotel is located. All in all, you do get what you pay for, the location is within close proximity to famous London landmarks, the area is very quiet and friendly. Whether for business or pleasuse, I’d say Caesar is one of the better hotel picks. One advice: unless you absolutely must have your breakfast at the hotel, do so outside. I do not think you entirely get what you pay for for 12GBP with the buffet they have, (though I must say there’s the same friendly welcoming staff ready to help), but that’s just me. Anything outside of that--Caesar Hotel is practical and lovely for those who do not want to gamble around with picking a proper place from hundreds of other alternatives out there.

This was my first time to London and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. It was very close to the bus stops and underground, making it easy to get around the city. Our room was spacious and very clean. Everything seemed new and above all it was dead silent at night! I would stay here again for sure.

Fantastic hotel!

I stayed at this hotel as part of a package, so I wasn’t expecting a lot... but it turned out to be perfect for my needs. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from Paddington station, which was a perfect hub for my sightseeing. There were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area to meet all of my needs. I stayed in a single room, which was VERY small, but not any smaller than anything else I’d seen in London. There was a bath/shower combo and a separate bathroom area as well as A/C, which isn’t always standard. The bed was tiny, but comfortable. I will admit, this was my second room. The first room I was checked in to had an issue with the vent and let the rain in all night... right above the toilet. When I woke up at 3am to use the restroom, I was soaked. The next morning, they moved me and gave me a free breakfast, so I don’t really see this as anything other than a minor inconvenience. The only two negatives - which aren’t really particular issues are as follows: First (this is a larger concern), there is a lot of construction in the area. While it’s about a block away right now, I imagine it will soon be right in front of the hotel. They work 24/7. My second irritation is that there were only 3 channels on the television. While I’m not on vaction to watch TV, many evenings I was back in my room by 8 and was very limited in my choices. But, it wasn’t a big deal. All in all, I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Buy an unlimited travelcard... the hotel is almost on top of the circle line and can easily connect you to anywhere in the city. Paddington station is also a stop for dozens of major busroutes into the center of town. I enjoyed getting on a bus and enjoying the sights as I traveled.

The room was small, but it was expected as it is a euro hotel. The staff was extremely nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Great location, quiet street and 5min walk to Paddington Station.

Good Hotel

The Hotel has a very good location, near Paddington Station, the neighborhood is nice and there are a lot of restaurants near it. The Hotel has a nice and modern decoration, with excelent service; all personnel are kind and willing to help. The Restaurant has good food, you have options for breakfast: Buffet or Full English Breakfast. The Free Internet at the Lobby is a Plus. Room service is available with good food too. Room is small, as expected but clean and just with needed decoration; the safe box is extremely useful. The only observation I have is with the Cleaning Service, I left a bag with trash and was never pick up,.... I took my own bath towel and one day we return and it dissapear, then when we return another day the dishes from the room service were still there.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The Paddington Station just 3 Blocks from the Hotel, and inside the station there are a lot of cheap and small places to take coffe or have a brief breakfast or lunch, and near there is too a convinience store where you can buy sandwiches, fruit, water, sodas, at a accesible price. Dont forget choosing London Walks, the best tours in London if you like walking....

Best staff ans service

My mom using wheelchair,when we check-in, the front desk manager saw her and ask us if it OK to upgrade her to the bigger room which specialy design for wheelchair guest without extra charge and he also wheel my mom to the room and show us around by himself.Too bad we did not get his name.

My Four day stay

One half hour free internet is great. Rooms are small but clean. Short walk to major train station. Easy ride from the airport to Paddington Station.

Great Hotel.....small rooms

This hotel is very centrally located with a beautiful lobby area and facilities. However, it is a boutique hotel of sorts so the areas are small as they are in most independent European hotels. The room was very small however even by those standards.

Good value

There’s a lot of hotels in this neighbourhood. For the money - this is one of the better ones. Decent service - Would recommend it.

Good choice

Overall it was a pleasant stay... The only minus are the small rooms...Also i had asked for a queensize bed but i got two singles next to one another...

Nice hotel in London

Very nice "Modern" hotel. Rooms were very "European" in size, but we were in them only for sleeping anyways. Very close to Hyde Park and Paddington Station, which made getting to and from the Heathrow a breeze. Staff was attentive and very helpful.

Good hotel

It’s a comfortable hotel, quite, clean, with polite and good staff, and reasonable size of room considering the price. But the distance to each subway and station are not very close, about 10 minutes walk, not very convenient if with luggage.

Kensinton Park and Hyde Park are very beautiful. I like there so much!

Would stay at the Caesar again.

The Caesar is a nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. The room was very small, but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly from check-in to check-out. The Caesar is located near Paddington station giving you easy access to Heathrow and the rest of London.

Nice Place to Stay

Room was very clean and I thought the hotel service was adequate. I liked the location, close to Paddington Station and Hyde Park so you could catch the tube or walk to sites if you wanted.

OK but could do better.

Room was clean but very small and had no air conditioning. Hotel staff appeared over-whelmed and took a frustrating amount of time to check in. Would not recommend for extended stays. OK walk to Paddington Station.

Location if fine but you still have to walk about half a mile to the underground. Dining options in the area are very limited. The room is really extreme; the bed is less than full, the closet houses 4 hangers - no drawers ...

Good value-for-money experience

Clean but small room. Corridors and elevator lack some maintenance. Very friendly and responsive staff. Fresh, young atmosphere. Good value for money experience. Good, quiet location 5 minutes from the tube.
